Notice of Intent to Sole Source M67854-12-T-5009 Hydraulic Excavator Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) with West Side Tractor Sales Co. (DBA West Side Specialised Services); 1400 W Ogden Avenue; Naperville, IL 60563-3909. The Government has a need for: Item Description Part Number Quantity Replace Hydraulic Thumb Pins AT33995 and T229484 2 each Modify Arm Hydraulic Plumbing See Bill of Material (BOM) 1 each Pile Driver Hitch C912617 8 each Parts Kits to Replace Hydraulic Thumb in Theater AT33995 and T229484 8 each In support of the Urgent Universal Needs Statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and past performance data no later than 3:00pm local time on 7 November 2011. All documents should be submitted to Ms. Ebony M Guest, Contract Specialist, at contact@example.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone calls will be accepted.
