Request for Information COTS/NDI Joint Light Tactical Vehicle Family of Vehicles Capability

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the U.S. Department of Defense, specifically through the Office of the Commander in Quantico, Virginia, under solicitation number M67854-26-I-0179, to conduct market research for mature, production-ready Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Non-Developmental Item (NDI) solutions within the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Family of Vehicles. The purpose is to identify existing vehicle platforms, variants, trailers, mission packages, and support systems that are either currently in production, previously fielded, or capable of rapid adaptation with minimal integration, testing, or configuration changes. The Government explicitly states this RFI is not a solicitation for proposals, does not obligate any future procurement, and will not result in a contract award. Respondents are not entitled to reimbursement for costs incurred in providing information, and all submissions are voluntary and non-binding under 10 USC 4022. The Government seeks technical and commercial data on production capacity, delivery timelines, logistics support, pricing rough order of magnitude estimates, and compliance with operational requirements such as payload capacity, towing capability, off-road mobility, onboard power, CANBUS/C5ISR compatibility, and cybersecurity standards as defined by DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01. All responses must be submitted via email no later than June 10, 2026, with a maximum length of 25 pages excluding cover and brochures, and must include mandatory information such as the respondent’s CAGE code, Unique Entity ID, business size status, socioeconomic designation if applicable, and supporting documentation. Vendors are expected to describe their ability to deliver up to three production-representative vehicles and trailers within 90 days and scale to 50 units within 10 months, with full logistics and sustainment support within 12 months, and demonstrate capability to ship within the continental United States. The Government reserves the right to use submitted information for planning purposes and to reject any input in whole or in part without further obligation. Any future acquisition will be conducted through a separate formal solicitation.
