This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party expense.Description of Requirement: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, is seeking sources capable of providing proprietary VEMCO-brand acoustic telemetry equipment, manufactured by Innovasea Systems Inc. This equipment is essential for the continuation of a 14-year-long Invasive Carp Monitoring and Response Plan and must be fully compatible and interoperable with the existing VEMCO telemetry network deployed in the Chicago Area Waterways (CAWS) and Illinois Waterway (IWW). The specific items required include, but are not limited to: NexTrak R1 Transponding Acoustic Receiver with battery; Decoding: Generation-2 code map. VR2Tx-69kHz Coded Acoustic Receiver with Transponder; Innovasea Decoding: Generation-2. VR100 Surface Transponder and Manual Tracking Acoustic Receiver (Model VR100-300).Capability Statement Requirements: Interested parties who believe they are capable of providing the exact VEMCO-brand items listed above are invited to submit a capability statement. The statement must include, at a minimum, the following information: Company Information including Company Name, Address, Point of Contact (Name, Email, and Phone Number). Entity Identification including Unique Entity ID (UEI) and CAGE code. Business Size including business size and socioeconomic status under NAICS code 334511 (e.g., Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, etc.). Authorization including documentation or a statement confirming your company is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an authorized distributor/reseller for the specific VEMCO product line required. Provide evidence of your ability to source and deliver these exact items. Technical Capability including a brief narrative describing your company experience providing similar acoustic telemetry equipment to federal or state agencies.Submission Instructions: All capability statements must be submitted electronically via email to the points of contact listed below.
