Request For Information: Tissue and Cellular Therapy Laboratory Information Management System

The University of Iowa is seeking information from qualified suppliers capable of providing a standardized Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for its Tissue and Cellular Therapy program through Request for Information RFI 18597 Addendum 1. The system must support end-to-end traceability of cellular therapy products from donor collection through processing, testing, storage, and transfusion, with real-time HL7 interface capabilities to connect with institutional systems such as Epic EMR, full integration with barcode scanners and label printers, and compliance with AABB, CAP, CLIA, FACT, and FDA regulations. The LIMS must generate ISBT 128-compliant labels with correct check characters and support user-configured printing layouts, including direct integration for 4x4 full face and 2x2 half label formats.
