Request for Information: ZPMC: Engineering, Repair, Maintenance, Retrofits & Part

Broward County has issued a Request for Information under solicitation number BLD6232026F27 to identify qualified vendors capable of providing engineering, repair, maintenance, retrofits, and parts for six ship-to-shore cranes currently serviced by ZPMC. The primary objective of this RFI is to determine if alternative providers exist who can meet or exceed ZPMC proprietary standards, which will help the County decide if a sole source designation is appropriate or if the procurement can be opened to multiple providers. This process is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment. Prospective vendors must demonstrate their ability to provide replacement parts and technical support for mechanical, electrical, structural, and control systems without compromising system integrity, safety compliance, or operational reliability. Responses must be submitted through the electronic bidding system by the deadline of September 29, 2026. The County requires evidence of past performance and the ability to adhere to strict compatibility and performance standards associated with ZPMC-designed integrated components.
