This notice is for the Request for Quotation (SPRWA1-26-Q-0016) for  C-5 Direct Linear Valve, NSN 4810001164496UC PN 36190-1 (Cage Code 99643).  


ITEM DESCRIPTION


This item is a hydraulic directional control valve assembly that is three-way, two position 3000 PSIG operating pressure.  It is 6.88 inches in length, 3.18 inches in width, 4.18 inches in height, and weighs 0.79 pounds.   


Impediment to Competition:


The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Eaton Aerospace LLC. (CAGE 99643), which maintains its configuration by part number and software version. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Eaton Aerospace LLC is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the subject direct linear valve’s performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment. 


INTEREST


The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Eaton Aerospace LLC for the manufacture of the subject direct linear valve in support of the C-5 Aircraft.  Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 10 July 2026 closing date by emailing Todd Stimus at todd.stimus@us.af.mil and/or Victor Henderson at victor.henderson.2@us.af.mil.  The Government intends to procure this item using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
