This notice is for the Request for Quotation of the C-5 direct linear valve NSN 4820001614098UC.  The Purchase Request number is FD20602600080.


ITEM DESCRIPTION


Dual shuttle hydraulic 20 GPM direct linear valve used for directional control of hydraulic fluid on the C-5 aircraft. Item material is steel and aluminum. Length is 9.97 inches, width is 2.7 inches, height is 2 inches, and weight is 1.5 pounds.  


Impediment to Competition:


The original equipment manufacturer for these items is PneuDraulics Inc. (CAGE 06177), which maintains its configuration by part number . The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, PneuDraulics Inc. is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the subject directional control valve performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility with the equipment. 


INTEREST
