A licensed electrician is required to remove a hazardous two-conduit setup and reroute the 240-volt three-phase power and control wiring overhead to a mixing blender at the Phoenix Rearing Facility, located at 3645 E. Chipman RD, Phoenix AZ 85040. The power supply originates from a breaker panel in an adjacent room, necessitating new rigid conduit installation through a wall, while the control wire panel is within ten feet of the blender. All conduit connections must be sealed to prevent electrical arcing due to flammable dust from wheat and soy, despite the presence of a dust collection system. The work must comply with safety standards for hazardous environments and prioritize durable, sealed rigid conduit. The solicitation is exclusively for small businesses under a total small business set-aside, with a contract value under $25,000 and a NAICS code of 238210. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM, led by Marvin Draper. All inquiries must be submitted via email to erick.plamann@usda.gov no later than 12:00 PM Central Time on July 29, 2026, and all offers must be sent to the same email by 12:00 PM Central Time on August 12, 2026, with a final response deadline of August 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Reroute Power Supply

POC: Erick Plamann, Contract Specialist, erick.plamann@usda.gov

a licensed electrician remove the 2 conduit tripping hazard and reroute the supply power and control wires overhead to the mixing blender. The breaker panel for the 240-volt 3 phase supply power is located in the next room where the electrician will
have to run new conduit through a wall to the mixing blender. The control wire panel is located within 10 feet from the mixing blender. We prefer that the electrician uses rigid conduit and seals all connections to prevent electrical arching. We do
have fine dust particles from wheat and soy which can become highly flammable. The kitchen possesses a dust collecting system which gathers most of the dust particles.

Operational Security Cameras Bagwell and North Cargo AreasThe contract entails the design, permitting, and construction of a comprehensive camera system to enhance security and operational oversight in the Bagwell and North Cargo Operations areas of the Port of Seattle. The project will install 50 high-resolution cameras across 43 locations, significantly expanding and upgrading surveillance coverage beyond the current setup, which primarily focuses on conveyor systems and security doors. Enhanced visibility will be achieved along main terminal drive lanes and entrances in the Bagwell area, enabling more effective forensic investigations and improved enforcement of the Port’s movement rules and regulations. In the North Cargo Operations area, the system will introduce flexible, pan-tilt-zoom camera units capable of delivering user-controlled surveillance over broader surface areas, bridging gaps in existing coverage. The deployment is intended to provide adaptive, real-time monitoring capabilities tailored to dynamic cargo operations. The work is being managed by the Aviation Project Management Group under the Port of Seattle, with primary point of contact Angela Peterson and project manager Randa Williams. The solicitation, posted in July 2026, falls under NAICS code 238210 for electrical contractors and related work, and is positioned as a forecast for future procurement without a specified set-aside classification.
