The principal items of construction are: Deep patching, milling, spot leveling, resurfacing and striping of various City Streets for approximately 9.8 centerline miles of resurfacing. All work shall be performed according to the Georgia D.O.T. Standards and Specifications. Road mileage is subject to change and depends upon the availability of funding. An add-on project is included to pave and stripe the parking lot at the Cartersville Soccer Complex to fix pavement and drainage issues. The quantities estimated for the add-on parking lot project are such that positive drainage away from the parking lot surface may be achieved. This add-on project is to be bid on and billed separately from the street resurfacing project. The bidder selected to perform the street resurfacing project will be eligible to perform the add-on project if the City deems estimated price to be reasonable.
