The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Mar Cor Purification, Inc, 4450 Township Line Rd, Skippack, Pennsylvania 19474 for a reverse osmosis system. This system would be a replacement and support existing equipment utilized in our Dialysis Unit with a census of 169 inmate patients receiving hemodialysis treatments. Contractor shall provide documentation to show a reverse osmosis system that meets current ANSI/AAMI standards; capable of delivering a minimum of 6.5 GPM of RO product water with a nominal rejection of 95-99% of all ionic material; have a recovery of 50-75%; 208V 3PH; compatible with Minncare Cold Sterilant Products. This is a firm-fixed price purchase order. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by March 25, 2016,10 a.m. CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Mar Cor Purification, Inc.
