RF Amplifier Module Repairs

Dallas Area Rapid Transit is soliciting bids for a Blanket Purchase Order under solicitation number 2101369 to provide repair services for CommScope Node A RF Amplifier Modules used in its Tunnel Radio System. The scope specifically covers the repair of 700 MHz (DCM AF 7037, ID No. 7577534-00) and 800 MHz (DCM AF 8037, ID No. 7577538-00) amplifier modules. Qualified firms must possess demonstrated experience in repairing RF amplifier modules, bi-directional amplifiers, or distributed antenna system equipment. A critical requirement is that the vendor's facility must have the equipment necessary to test repaired modules in their normal working configuration using a CommScope Node A Chassis, ensuring all units are calibrated to original manufacturer specifications. Repaired modules must be returned to the specified Dallas delivery address within 120 days of receipt, accompanied by detailed repair reports documenting findings, performed repairs, and test results. Units deemed Beyond Economical Repair must be returned with supporting documentation. All repairs include a minimum six-month warranty covering workmanship and replacement parts at no additional cost to the Authority. Invoices are paid 30 days from the receipt of the invoice or order, whichever is later, and the Authority is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes. To be considered responsive, bidders must submit all required documentation and signatures via the Bonfire portal.
