The dual effort of the City of Waco and TxDOT for the SpeeglevilleBridge Over the Middle Bosque Project is a 0.54-mile bridge and roadwayreconstruction project of Speegleville Road from Maple Shade Road to north ofOak Road located in the City of Waco, McLennan County, Texas. The projectconsists of reconstructing approximately 2,200 LF of roadway and adding anadditional northbound and southbound lanes, creating a four-lane roadwayseparated by a striped median. The bridge crossing consists of constructing twodifferent bridges elevated over the Middle Bosque River, each 670 feet inlength. In addition to roadway improvements, construction of approximately1,500 LF of storm drainpipes and culverts, and construction of pedestriansidewalks on the east and west sides of the roadway.
