RFB -8 Drones with Thermal Imaging Capabilities

Background The Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the procurement of 8 drones equipped with thermal imaging capabilities specifically for use in Cherokee Nation Public Safety operations. The goal of this contract is to enhance public safety measures through advanced aerial surveillance and monitoring technologies. Work Details The contract requires the provision of 8 drones that must meet or exceed the specified technical requirements. Each drone package should include: - 4 batteries - a spotlight - a speaker - a hard case The drones must have a takeoff weight of approximately 1219 g with propellers and be capable of carrying a maximum payload of 200 g. Additional specifications include dimensions when folded and unfolded, maximum ascent and descent speeds, flight times, wind resistance capabilities, and various operational features such as GNSS support and imaging sensors. The drones should also feature advanced thermal imaging capabilities with specific resolution and temperature measurement ranges. Period of Performance The contract performance period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by October 14, 2025. Place of Performance The delivery location for the drones will be specified in the purchase order issued by the Cherokee Nation, likely within their jurisdiction in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide proof of current TERO certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office to qualify for Indian preference.
