The Polar Continental Shelf Program (PCSP) of Natural Resources Canada requires the services of helicopters, such as a Bell 206LR, or an AStar B2 or equivalent, to support its field operations in the Canadian Arctic, for the field season year 2026, beginning April 1 and up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions. In order to be considered equivalent, the proposed aircraft must meet or exceed the listed Aircraft Specifications.
The base locations for the service are all within Nunavut: Pond Inlet, Resolute Bay, Iqaluit, Eureka.
The main base of operations for the PCSP is Resolute Bay, Nunavut. PCSP Resolute controls all the flight operations that are conducted across all locations.
We are seeking suppliers already registered on the IFR who are qualified to provide helicopter chartering services within Nunavut, as described in the Statement of Work, and who meet all mandatory technical requirements.
This is not a bid solicitation. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is collecting responses to this Request for Information solely for information purposes. This RFI will not result in the award of any contract.
