AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Air Force’s 56th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying Q-PAR QMS-00807 Antennas and QLA-360MPS-15-Q01-005 Positioning Systems. This RFI, issued under FAR Part 10 for planning purposes only, seeks input on vendor capabilities, small business participation, response timelines, and suggestions for improving the requirement. Respondents are required to provide their firm’s name, address, phone number, CAGE code, business size classification, and any applicable SBA certifications such as 8(a), SDVOSB, or HUBZone. Vendors must also estimate the number of calendar days needed to respond to a future Request for Quotation and indicate whether they consent to having their questions and the government’s responses published publicly on FedBizOpps or GSA, with their identity anonymized. The submission deadline is Friday, 22 May 2026, at 09:00 AM MDT, and responses must be submitted electronically to A1C Sophia Mojica at sophia_bianca.mojica.1@us.af.mil. The RFI references salient technical characteristics for the equipment, including full 360-degree azimuth and 0–90-degree elevation coverage, high-speed positioning, Power over Ethernet support, and web-based interface capabilities, but does not obligate the government to award a contract or establish pricing, delivery schedules, or contract terms. The place of performance is Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, and no formal evaluation factors, contract clauses, packaging specifications, or inspection criteria are included at this stage, as this is purely a pre-solicitation market research effort. The NAICS code 334220 indicates the focus on communications equipment manufacturing, and the solicitation number is F2UT506104A007. No set-aside is currently planned, and no contract value has been estimated.
