RFI - Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Vendor Framework

The Space Systems Command’s S6 division is seeking input from industry to develop a structured vendor framework for commercial Zero Trust Architecture solutions that align with the Department of Defense and National Institute of Standards and Technology Zero Trust guidelines. Recognizing the wide variability in capability, maturity, and implementation approaches among commercial ZT offerings, this initiative aims to help mission systems identify and select solutions that effectively close specific security gaps. The resulting ZTA Vendor Framework will provide a categorized, standardized view of available commercial products to improve decision-making and interoperability across defense programs. This effort is open to civilian and industry participants, with no set-asides or specific NAICS codes designated, and is not a solicitation for contracts but rather a request for information to inform future acquisition strategies. Responses are being collected through the SAM.gov portal to ensure broad participation from vendors capable of delivering compliant Zero Trust technologies. The goal is to create a reference tool that enhances the selection process by mapping vendor solutions against recognized DoD and NIST Zero Trust standards, ultimately strengthening the security posture of mission-critical space systems.
