RFP#185-26 Intrusion, Monitoring & Security Camera Systems

The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority is seeking a qualified vendor under RFP# 185-26-SP to provide comprehensive intrusion, monitoring, and security camera systems for all its retail and regional office locations across Virginia. The scope of work includes the design, installation, and management of security infrastructure, encompassing video management solutions, security hardware such as cameras and intrusion alarms, and operational services including monitoring and a Maintenance Service Support Program. The contract is scheduled to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with an option for ten subsequent one-year renewals. Selected vendors must hold a Contractor's License and a Low Voltage Specialty License, and they are required to conduct background checks on all personnel servicing these locations. The contract mandates a three-year warranty for both materials, workmanship, and software, as well as the maintenance of privacy and network security liability insurance. Proposals must be submitted by January 15, 2027, in two copies—one original and one redacted—with pricing submitted as a separate file. Award selection will be based on the offeror deemed best suited through an evaluation of qualifications and a potential negotiation process. Payment terms are set at thirty days following the receipt of a proper invoice.
