RFP 2027-07 REC GYM HVAC REPLACEMENT

The Habersham County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals under RFP 2027-07 for the replacement and installation of HVAC systems at two Georgia locations. The scope of work includes replacing three heat pumps at the Habersham County Recreation Facility, which must meet or exceed the capacity of the existing 15-ton and 20-ton Carrier units, and installing one new system at the Habersham County Fleet Shop, where the use of fabric air ducts is desired. Contractors are responsible for the quality installation of high-efficiency units from reputable manufacturers and the legal disposal of all old equipment. Proposals are due by 10:00 AM on November 4, 2026, and must be submitted in a sealed envelope or box labeled with the bidder's information and the solicitation title. Award decisions will be made at the County's discretion based on a combination of unit quality, efficiency, warranty, and cost to best serve the public interest. Required submission documents include a pricing sheet, bidder declaration, non-collusion affidavit, certificate of non-discrimination, references, and proof of liability and worker's compensation insurance.
