RFP 300 kV Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscope

Natural Resources Canada requires the supply, delivery, installation, configuration, and commissioning of a new 300 kV Scanning/Transmission Electron Microscope system to be completed in Hamilton, Ontario, with all initial work, including operator training, finalized no later than March 31, 2028. The system must be delivered by March 31, 2027, and the contract period extends until March 31, 2029, encompassing the possibility of up to four additional one-year warranty and maintenance option periods. The contractor must also offer in-situ Transmission Electron Microscopy holders for heating and electrical biasing as optional add-ons. All proposals must be submitted by the deadline of August 4, 2026, and late submissions will not be accepted. The solicitation, issued under reference WS5703747890 by the Government of Canada through Public Works and Government Services, is open to qualified bidders with the technical capability to meet these stringent requirements.
