RFP for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair

The Village of Northbrook is soliciting sealed proposals for HVAC system maintenance, inspection, and repair services across twelve facilities in Illinois. The scope of work includes triannual preventative maintenance scheduled for spring, summer, and fall, encompassing cleaning, lubrication, leak detection, filter replacement, and electrical inspections. The selected contractor will be responsible for all labor, tools, and materials, and must provide emergency repairs within 24 hours and non-emergency repair proposals within one week. All work must be performed by certified technicians and comply with OSHA, the Illinois Department of Labor, and the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope to Northbrook Public Works by 10:00 A.M. on October 10, 2024. Required submission materials include the official proposal form with a completed schedule of prices, an authorized signature, and a reference form. The contract requires contractors to maintain a written sexual harassment policy and certify compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Patriot Act. Assignment or subcontracting of work is prohibited without prior written consent from the Village. Work is expected to commence within 10 days of contract acceptance.
