The City seeks to employ a consultant to provide a comprehensive environmental assessment for the treatment of up to 675 acres of vegetation for a fuels reduction project.
The selected consultant will assume responsibility for navigation of the environmental review process, serving as technical arm for the City of Murrieta (acting as the lead agency). The final CEQA pathways shall include an Initiation Study (IS) /Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND).
The final deliverables at a minimum shall include an IS/MND, provide biological and cultural resource technical reports, and to provide assistance with the environmental review process, consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act.
The tasks identified herein are intended to describe the general scope of work and are not intended to represent a complete or exhaustive list of all activities necessary to complete the project. The City expects the Consultant to provide professional judgment, guidance, and recommendations regarding any additional tasks, analyses, or steps necessary to successfully complete the project.
