RFQ - AIR CONDITIONING UNIT REPLACEMENT AT THE PALA REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM (RCS) RADIO SITE

The County of San Diego, on behalf of the Sheriff's Office, is soliciting quotes under RFQ 13392 for the replacement of an air conditioning unit at the Pala Regional Communications System (RCS) radio site located in Pala, California. The scope of work requires the contractor to remove and dispose of an existing Marvair unit and install a Bard 5-ton model W60AF-A05XP4XXJ or an approved equivalent, along with an ICM492 control and an RSH50 surge protective device. All work must be completed within 30 calendar days of the effective date. The contractor must hold a current C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Contractor’s Classification License and adhere to California public work prevailing wage rates. Award decisions will be based on best value, considering technical merit, experience, capacity, price, and availability. Required submittals include the Offeror’s Cover Page (PC600), Representations and Certifications form (PC601), and a W-9. The contractor must provide a full manufacturer's warranty on the equipment and a one-year warranty on installation and labor. Additionally, a signed disposal certification must be provided to the Contracting Officer's Representative within five business days of the old unit's removal. A payment bond is required if the total aggregate amount of the job is $25,000 or more.
