VIA Rail Canada Inc. is conducting a request for qualifications (RFQ) process for the subsequent procurement of the design, supply, manufacture, testing, delivery and commissioning of a base order of 313 passenger cars, split into 9 different car types, with options for additional quantities, along with all the required ancillary deliverables for the proper introduction of this new car fleet.
