The County is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications from hotels, motels, lodges and others (hereinafter referred to as “Respondents”) that can provide temporary and/or emergency lodging to participants in programs across multiple County departments. Respondents that offer facilities close in proximity to public transportation, food establishments, markets, laundry facilities, and County facilities are highly desirable.The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish a Qualified List (hereinafter referred to as “QL”) of hotels, motels, lodges, and others to provide Temporary/Emergency Lodging Services on an as-needed basis for an approximate three-year period. The County will award one (1) or more agreements with the successful Respondent(s) named to the resulting QL. The County makes no specific guarantee of a minimum or maximum amount of services which shall be requested of any Respondents named to the resulting QL, as certain County programs require the participants select their preferred lodging regardless of the results of this solicitation. This RFQ includes a description of the evaluation and selection process, scope of work, submittal requirements, and insurance requirements.
