The City of Dunwoody is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from engineering design firms to develop pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, streetscape elements, and operational improvements along North Peachtree Road from Dunwoody Crossing to Barclay Drive in DeKalb County. The scope of work includes the development of environmental documents, special studies for air, noise, and ecology, and the creation of comprehensive construction, signing, marking, and right-of-way plans. The selected consultant will be responsible for delivering a final Plans, Specifications, and Estimates package and providing construction services. All deliverables must adhere to GDOT design and environmental manuals, the Plan Development Process, and the National Environmental Policy Act. The selection process is a two-phase best-value determination based on technical approach, project manager and team qualifications, resource capacity, and past performance. Firms must be prequalified in the required Area Classes to avoid disqualification and must submit notarized certifications regarding criminal history, debarment, and E-Verify compliance. The anticipated contract will be a project-specific agreement using a cost plus fixed fee payment method, with final fees determined through negotiations with the top-ranked firm. The project timeline spans from a notice to proceed in FY 2027 through the letting of the construction contract in FY 2031. Qualifications are due by September 10, 2026.
