By means of this Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking arrangements from supplier to update the mapping and attributing of land cover within 2km x 2km photo plots across Canada using stereo imagery (satellite or aerial based) or mono imagery (satellite or aerial based) that is sub 71cm panchromatic + multispectral (i.e. <71cm spatial resolution). Interested suppliers should carefully review the requirements of this Supply Arrangement and submit their arrangement for consideration. Suppliers who meet the evaluation criteria will be included in a pool of pre-qualified suppliers. The services include photo interpretation and data capture from two image type (stereo image and mono image) for National Forest Inventory (NFI) photo plots in the geographic zones (Zone 1 to 6, see Map 1 in Annex A, SW.3.7). Supplier can qualify for a single image type-zone combination and up to twelve image type-zone combinations. The Supply Arrangement will be in effect until March 31, 2028. NRCan reserves the right to exercise the option to extend the Supply Arrangement(s) for up to three (3) additional periods of one (1) year.
