Notice is hereby given that Nescopeck Borough will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time on Friday, June 14th 2024 for the Nescopeck Borough Ridge Road Culvert Replacement project. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to replace an existing culvert with a new elliptical concrete pipe culvert including headwalls, guide rail, and full depth asphalt pavement. All bidding documents will be available online at no cost via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) beginning at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 17th 2024. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer’s office and referred to Nescopeck Borough for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.
