Right of Entry to Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina for the SUPer Hero Paddleboard Event

The San Diego Unified Port District has granted a Right of Entry to the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina for the SUPer Hero Paddleboard Event. This agreement allows the tenant and their authorized agents and contractors to utilize specific property located at 1380 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, California, as a designated water pathway and race area for event participants and officials, including necessary ingress and egress. The term of this agreement is scheduled from July 15, 2026, to July 22, 2026. The District maintains the right to terminate the agreement without cause upon providing twenty-four hours' written notice to the grantee. The project is strictly limited to event support, and no new development, construction, or expansion of the area is permitted. The applicant is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding stormwater, hazards, hazardous materials, and construction demolition debris. Administratively, the project is classified as categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15304 for minor alterations to land, as it is a temporary event that does not involve the removal of mature, scenic trees.
