Riverbed Equipment-Maintenance and Support (IT)

The U. S. International Trade Commission (USITC) is an independent, quasi-judicial Federal agency established by Congress with a wide range of trade-related mandates. The USITC's mission is threefold: (1) To administer US trade remedy laws in a fair and objective manner; (2) to provide the President, the US Trade Representative (USTR) and the Congress with independent, quality analysis, information, and support on matters of tariffs and international trade and competitiveness; and (3) to maintain the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) of the United States. In doing so, the USITC serves the public by implementing US Law and contributing to the development and implementation of sound and informed US trade policy. This posting serves as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 34300020Q0019. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06 effective 06-05-2020. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The USITC has a requirement for the procurement of hardware maintenance (renewal) for 14 Riverbed Equipment Contract Line Items, found on the specification list as another attachment to this posting. The Specification List details the Part Numbers and Serial Numbers of this equipment. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c)(ii), the Brand Name Justification is also attached to this posting. The successful offeror for award will be selected on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Technical acceptability is based upon a quote exactly matching the specification list, without deviation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business organizations. The successful Small Business offeror shall be a Certified Riverbed reseller. The associated North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 423430 Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers, with the small business size standard of 250 (number of) employees. The one year period of performance is July 8, 2020 - July 7, 2021. All responsible, capable and qualified small business sources may submit a quotation as outlined herein, which will be considered by the Agency. In order to be considered for award, and in addition to being a Certified Riverbed-reseller, the offeror must be registered and current in the System for Award Management database (www.sam.gov) prior to award. Within the quotation submitted, please include the organization's DUNS Number, socio-economic status, and confirmation that the organization is a certified Riverbed reseller.
