Riverside University Health System Department of Public Health (RUHS-PH) Third Amendment to Lease, Riverside

On April 8, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Minute Order 3.11, a ten-year lease for office space consisting of approximately 40,353 square feet for the Riverside University Health System-Department of Public Health (RUHS-PH), for the leased premises located at 4210 Riverwalk Parkway Suites 110, 300, and 400, in Riverside (Lease). On August 6, 2019, the Board of Supervisors approved Minute Order 3.14 that reduced the premises to 29,341 square feet and extended the term of the Lease through July 31, 2026. The Second Amendment to Lease dated June 7, 2022 expanded the leased premises by an additional 18,227 square feet (Expanded Premises) to accommodate RUHS-PH program administration offices, increasing the total leased space to 47,568 square feet. This Third Amendment to the Lease (Third Amendment) reduces the total leased premises of 47,568 square feet by removing Suite 400, which consists of 22,117 square feet, excluding Suite 410, a 1,280-square-foot space located within Suite 400. As a result, the overall leased square footage is reduced to 26,731 square feet. The Third Amendment to the Lease Agreement with SchoolsFirst Credit Union, Riverside is identified as the proposed project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The proposed project would not result in an increase in capacity or physical expansion. No significant physical changes would occur as a result of the Third Amendment to the Lease Agreement.
