Purpose of this Advance Proposed Procurement Notice: This is an advance notice for the procurement of a Contractor to complete a culvert replacement on Highway 9, 6.95 km south of its junction with Highway 22. Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. This tender will have a shortened advertising period and will have an early completion date. The work is expected to take place as early as September 2026, with a specified completion date as early as October 31, 2026. The Ministry reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work. Description of the Procurement: INSTALLATION OF TWO 1 400 mm DIAMETER POLYMER LAMINATED CORRUGATED STEEL PIPE CULVERT by open excavation of the Roadway on Highway No. 9, 6.95 km south of its junction with Highway No. 22; for a TOTAL LENGTH OF 54 m. Estimated quantities of materials (subject to change): The following quantities are initial design estimates and are subject to change in the issued tender documents. Proposed culverts – Ministry Suppliedo 2 x 1 400 mm x 27 m long, Polymer Laminated Corrugated Steel Pipe, 125 mm x 25 mm corrugations, 2.0 mm wall thickness Removal and Disposal of Wood Box Culvert – 27.8 m Riprap Type 2 – 75 m3 Granular Backfill – 300 m3 Asphalt Concrete – 110 t Granular Base Course – 400 t Deposit with each Tender - 5% of total bidDeputy Minister of Highways Bidders may request a debriefing session from Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days after the award notification date. The intention of the debriefing is to aid the Bidder by identifying areas of improvement that may be applied to subsequent procurement opportunities.
