Rocky View County (County) will be upgrading Burma Road from Bearspaw Road to Range Road 25 which will also include the Bearspaw and Burma Road intersection and the construction of a traffic circle. The County will be administering the Contract for the Work. These upgrades are located along Burma Roam from Bearspaw Road to Range Road 25. The work will consist of widening the existing 7.0-7.5m roadway to a finished width of 9.0m. The existing Bearpaw Road and Burma Road intersection will be upgraded to include a single lane traffic circle complete with the appropriate taper lanes, lighting and signage. These upgrades are required to provide safe passage for all commuters in the area. The Work will be broken up into two schedules, Schedule ‘A’ – Burma Road Widening and Schedule ‘B’ Bearspaw Road and Burma Road Roundabout. Sedulous Engineering Inc. (Sedulous) was the successful proponent selected to design, tender, and oversee the delivery of the Project on behalf of the County. PURPOSE The County is requesting applications of Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the: GRADING, CULVERT INSTALLATION, GRANULAR BASE COURSE, CONCRETE WORK, ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT, STREET LIGHTING, SIGNAGE, PAVEMENT MARKINGS, AND OTHER WORK.
