Rolling Bay Door Replacement

The Department of the Air Force, through the 772d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, is conducting market research to identify qualified small businesses capable of performing the removal, disposal, furnishing, and installation of two 14-foot by 14-foot vertical rolling steel doors at a Large Area Maintenance Shelter located at Fort Bliss, Texas. This effort is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5, with the North American Industry Classification System code 332321 and a small business size standard of 750 employees. The work requires replacing existing damaged doors with new electrically powered rolling steel doors constructed of minimum 22-gauge galvanized steel in a grey finish, operating on a 110v motor system connected to an existing generator-fed power source, and featuring interior push-button controls. The installation must utilize the existing door track system and include operational testing, adjustment, and alignment to ensure seamless functionality. All work must be completed within 45 calendar days following contract award, during normal operating hours unless otherwise approved, and must be coordinated with the government point of contact. Contractors must comply with strict site access protocols, including identification verification, display of company affiliation, restriction to authorized work areas, and a complete prohibition on photography without explicit authorization. Interested vendors must submit a capability statement detailing relevant experience with powered rolling steel door systems and similar facility repair projects, along with product literature and technical specifications for the proposed doors, and must disclose whether work will be self-performed or subcontracted. Submission must include full company information such as name, address, point of contact, phone, email, CAGE code, Unique Entity ID, and business size designation.
