This roofing repair contract is a one-year agreement with the potential for two additional one-year extensions, covering the fiscal year from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The contract emphasizes a performance-based approach without guaranteeing specific work amounts, with vendors required to utilize the district’s work order system, Famis, and adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for response times, including same-day, two-day, and 30-day service priorities. Vendors must maintain the capacity to dispatch multiple service crews simultaneously during high-volume rain or freeze-thaw cycles, with specific staffing and equipment requirements, including three trucks with two personnel each. Failure to meet Priority 1 response times when fewer than three crews are used results in liquidated damages of $100 per work order. All work must be documented with before-and-after photos, and vendors are responsible for cleaning and disposing of debris, adhering to OSHA safety standards, and providing proof of certifications from at least three commercial roofing material manufacturers. The contract also mandates that vendors have at least three years of experience repairing various roof types, including BUR, EPDM, PVC, TPO, and shingle roofs. Additionally, the district encourages participation from local economically disadvantaged businesses, aiming for at least 20% engagement, and maintains oversight through quarterly performance reviews. The contract covers numerous schools within the district and is managed through a competitive solicitation process, with a response deadline of March 24, 2025.
