This is a synopsis of proposed contract action. This is not a solicitation or invitation for offerors to submit bids. The Federal Bureau Of Prisons(BOP), FCC Pollock, located in Pollock, LA, anticipates the issuance of solicitation RFQP05191700019 for the award of a firm fixed-price contract for the supply and installation of a rooftop air condition system. The project consist of furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor needed to remove an existing unit and installing a newly supplied unit in accordance with the Statement of Work (to be issued with solicitation at a later date). The Performance Period for the project will be 45 calendar days from issuance of the Award Notice. The solicitation will be available approximately on May 12, 2017. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 333415 with a corresponding small business size standard of 1250 employees. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your System for Award Management (SAM) registration. IMPORTANT: This is a 100% small business set-aside. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. In order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the size standard specified above.
