Solicitation SPE7LX-17-R-00096 is a presolicitation notice for the procurement of rotary relays under NSN 5945-01-185-5951 to support various weapons systems for DLA Land and Maritime. This is a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Quantity Contract with a total value not to exceed 634,738.14 dollars. The contract structure consists of a three-year base period with two separate one-year option periods, for a maximum potential duration of five years. The estimated annual demand is 237 units, though solicited increments range from 1 to 354 units. Because the government lacks complete technical data, this acquisition is restricted to approved sources, specifically Meggitt and Eaton Aerospace. The procurement follows FAR Part 12 for commercial items and may utilize an anonymous online reverse auction for price discussions. While the requirement is a partial small business set-aside of 50 percent, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. All offers must be submitted in English and U.S. dollars.
