The Naval Surface Warefare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia, intends to acquire four Rubber Rigid Inflatable Boats with hull constructed from drop-stitch fabric from Henshaw Inflatables LTD, UK. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation and purchase order will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures to award a Firm-Fixed Priced Order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, all proposals received prior to closing date will be considered b y the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
