This SOURCES SOUGHT notice is issued in accordance with FAR Part 5. The acquisition is for receipt, inspection and condition/test reports, refurbishment, testing, preservation, packing, packaging and marking of rudder assemblies in accordance with Specification R-562-2017 to return four USCG 378' WHEC rudder assemblies to a serviceable "A" condition. Please see attached Specification R-562-2017 entitled, "Rudder Assembly Overhaul U.S. Coast Guard 378" WHEC" dated 12/2014 for additional information. In response to this sources sought notice, please review and answer the attached market research questionnaire. It is anticipated that a firm, fixed priced requirements contract will be awarded. Period of Performance will be 1 to 2 years and will be determined when the solicitation is issued. Place of Performance: At the prospective contractor's facility The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 332710 (Machine Shops). The Small Business Size Standard in number of employees is 500. A set-aside determination has not yet been made. All responsible sources are requested to submit the following: company name, point of contact, address, DUNS Number, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size and a statement of capabilities. The business size shall include any applicable preference program (i.e. 8a, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, small business).
