Finally, the existing portion of the runway will be repaved. The runway 33 glide slope will be relocated. The new runway 33 localizer has already been installed by FAA Technical Operations and only needs to be switched on. Runway 15 is currently served only by a localizer, which will remain in operation as it will be beyond the future Runway Safety Area. Funding This project is federally funded through FAA BABA This project is subject to BABA requirements. Type This project is deemed a horizontal construction project. Pre-Bid Meeting A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Carson City Airport Office located at 2600 East College Parkway, Carson City Airport, NV 89706.
