Full Description

This procurement is being performed under FAR 13 and FAR 12. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego Contracting Office intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase internet service for one (1) base year and three (3) one-year options on a sole source basis. This is being done under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) the only known service provider is Cox Communication located at 1341 Crossways Blvd, Chesapeake Virginia 23320-2897. The applicable NAICS: 517110, business size 1500. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote will be issued on or about September 1, 2011 directly to Cox Communication. This procurement is issued as unrestricted. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by the Government. Place of Performance is NCIS Yorktown, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All inquires received by the closing date will be reviewed by the government. No telephone requests. Send all requests for solicitation package to contact@example.gov before the closing date of this synopsis. Request must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, fax number, cage code, Tax ID number, Business size, county, DUNS number and the applicable solicitation number (N00244-11-T-0545).
