The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Office of Acquisition, on behalf of the Office Real Estate Services, intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis, under the authority of TSA?s Acquisition Management System, Section 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection, a contract with Total Facility Maintenance. This contract is to provide: (1) Janitorial and, (2) Extermination services for 13,175 square feet of TSA leased space at the Chicago O?Hare International Airport. This contract will consist of a base period of four months and one, month option period. Total Facility Maintenance is the only company who is able to provide services starting immediately, because they hold current security clearances. The Government must continue the required services without interruption due to health concerns. This Contract will serve as a Bridge until a competition for a follow-on can be held. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, as no solicitation package will be issued. However, if a firm believes it can meet these requirements within the prescribed time frame, it may give notification via e-mail to the Contract Specialist listed below no later than January 2, 2008, 12:00 Noon, EST. A determination not to compete the proposed acquisition, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
