The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, intends to procure specialized services on a single-source basis, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, and under FAR Subpart 13.5 procedures. These services are to provide supplemental law enforcement patrols at the US Army Corps of Engineers (CORPS) managed lands and parks. The CORPS has proprietary jurisdiction within Federal regulations over all project lands and waters, and the SHERIFF has jurisdiction and responsibility to enforce all state and local laws. The contractor must have the authority to arrest and detain individuals. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, intends to enter into a labor hour contract with the Boise County Sheriff's Office, Idaho City, Idaho. Previously, Boise County Sheriff's Office was awarded contract W912EF-13-P-5024 on 2 May 2013 with the period of performance ending 8 September 2013. This is a recurring requirement. The NAICS code for this procurement is 922120 for which a size standard has not been established.
