Full Description

This announcement serves as the pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR 5.203(a)(1). Notice: Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. Award of any resultant contract is contingent upon appropriated funds being made available. The 27th Contracting Squadron will issue a Request for Quotation for the Grease Trap Skimming, Cleaning and Pumping service. Contractor shall provide qualified personnel, all equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform regularly scheduled skimming, cleaning and pumping for approximately 8 grease traps at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. Performance shall begin on or about 01 Oct 2003 and include a basic year plus four one-year options. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 562991 with a $5.0 million Small Business Size Standard. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7699. Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on/about 11 Sept 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov, with a quotation receipt date on or about 24 Sept 2003. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is tentatively scheduled for 16 Sept 2003 at 10:00 a.m. MST at the Contracting Office, Bldg 300, Room 135, Cannon Air Force Base, NM. 88103. Offerors requesting attendance at the site visit shall, no later than two days prior to site visit, RSVP by submitting their company name and individuals name in writing to Roger E. Once the RFQ is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to the RFQ.
