Full Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Requirements Contract for Building and Grounds Maintenance Services at their Tionesta Lake Project in Forest County, Tionesta, Pennsylvania. Some of the services include, but are not limited to, grass mowing, trimming, maintenance of landscaped areas, tree removal, debris removal, pesticide application, cleaning of offices and restrooms, shampooing and steam cleaning carpets, and solid waste and raw sewage removal. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses (NAICS Code 561210; size standard is $35.5 Million). Two separate contracts may be awarded: one for mowing and one for janitorial. The period of performance will be from 1 March 2010 (or date of award, whichever is later) through 28 February 2011, with two one-year option periods. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) database before receiving a contract award (go to www.ccr.gov to register). The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 6 December 2009 online only through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps); therefore requests for hardcopies of the specifications will not be honored. Request for this solicitation must be made by registering thru FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov.
