The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, The Dalles/John Day Project, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) service contract to a Sole Source contractor able to provide all materials, labor costs, and equipment necessary to provide and service dumpsters and perform scheduled refuse collection and disposal at varied locations and frequencies at Plymouth Park Campground and Day Use Area. Dumpsters will be secured in place to protect property from vandalism. The Government understands tha t the contractor will not pickup any tires, dead animals, or hazardous material. The administrative/contracting point of contact (POC) is Frank Gutierrez at +1 (555) 000-0000. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be procured for the base and four (4) option yea rs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562111 with a small business standard size of $1.5 million in volume. The RFQ will be issued and available to download from the Portland District website on or abo ut 17 October 2005. The quote will be due on or about 7 November 2005 by 4:00 pm pacific time.
