The US Expeditionary Contract Command Europe, 409th CSB, Regional Contracting Office Stuttgart intends to award a sole source contract to Johnson Controls Systems & Service GmbH, Bamlerstr. 5C, 45141 Essen, Germany pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c) (1). The requirement is for USAG Stuttgart DPW, Maintenance and Inspection Services on Heating and AC Control System at Patch Barracks and Panzer Kaserne. The contractor will develop and execute a maintenance plan for electronic control units and the mechanical parts of the system. The period of performance for the contract will begin approximately on 20 December 2010 for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12-months option years. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within 5 business days of the announcements posting date of 22 November 2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
