Salmo Parks New Sidewalk Project

The Village of Salmo in British Columbia is soliciting proposals for the Salmo Parks New Sidewalk Project to improve accessibility for children with mobility challenges. The project involves the installation of new sidewalks at two locations: KP Park at 215 Sayward Avenue and Lion's Park at 1017 Glendale Avenue. At KP Park, the contractor will extend the existing sidewalk from the washroom building to a circular concrete racetrack and a new Activity Board playground feature, covering approximately 350 square meters with a width of 6 feet at the front of the washroom. At Lion's Park, the project requires a 6-foot wide by 60-foot long sidewalk, totaling approximately 38 square meters, featuring a 90-degree turn and an 11-inch incline to provide access from the parking lot to playground equipment. The successful bidder is responsible for all site preparation and cleanup, ensuring that all sidewalks maintain a low profile for ease of use. A mandatory site visit with the Chief Administrative Officer, Derek Kwiatkowski, is required for all interested parties. Proposals must be submitted by October 30, 2026, at 2:00pm PST. All project work and final site cleanup must be completed no later than Friday, June 4, 2027, at 12:00pm.
