San Gabriel River Bridge Widen & Upgrade

The PCH-1 San Gabriel River Bridge Upgrade Project, identified by Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-LAN-44854-R5, involves the widening and safety upgrading of the existing bridge on PCH-1 in Long Beach, California. Executed by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and approved by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) on November 7, 2025, the project scope includes extending bridge abutments on both sides of the stream channel and constructing 12 additional in-channel bridge supports.
