Miami-Dade County, hereinafter referred to as the County, as represented by the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gauge the interest of vendors in participating in an upcoming competitive procurement for a comprehensive Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Telemetry System upgrade and maintenance solution (Solution) to support the County's water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities. Through the use of the Solution, the County intends to enhance the security and functionality of its SCADA radio infrastructure, modernizing the system to improve monitoring and control capabilities across a 43 square mile coverage area.
