AI Contract Overview
This contract involves the procurement of 79 close tolerance machine screws under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-48M4, with a delivery timeline of 148 days to Robins Air Force Base. The screws are identified by NSN 5305-00-956-2432 and must meet stringent technical and quality requirements as specified by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. Key standards include MIL-STD-1916 for sampling and inspection, MIL-STD-130N for identification marking, and FED-STD-H28/20 system 22 for gauging threads, specifically excluding certain small threads. The contract mandates critical item source inspection and assigns verification levels and Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs) for attributes classified as critical, major, or minor. Additional quality provisions include DLA packaging standards, physical identification of items, and removal of government identification on non-accepted supplies. Cybersecurity requirements are also outlined, requiring CMMC Level 2 certification or self-assessment by the supplier. The contract defines the use of either attribute or variable inspection methods per MIL-STD-1916, with zero tolerance for non-conformance in sampling. The procurement is competitive and classified as a commercial item procured according to federal military specifications. The Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division oversees the contract, with Lisa Harvie as the primary point of contact.
